Our Mission

The production of electricity from the power of rivers require complex and long-term location, technical and ecological preparation of the project and the construction itself. Hydro power plants, which are divided into micro, mini, medium and large hydro power plants based on their size and power, are expensive fixed constructions and structures that are built on a defined land location, and which cannot be moved to another location after construction.


In the world and in developed countries, there is a huge energy potential of smaller rivers that are not suitable for the construction of large hydro plants, and attempts are being made to build more micro and mini hydro power plants. But even though these facilities are smaller in size, they use the same principles of electricity production as large hydro power plants so there are also significant location problems, because not every location is suitable for a micro or mini hydro power plant, so suitable land often must be bought or rented. In addition, construction work of usual hydro power plant significantly increases costs and execution of the project. Therefore, the construction of conventional micro and mini hydroelectric power plants is also a significant problem.


Given that there is a large disproportion between the possible exploitation of huge energy potential of smaller rivers in the world and the real problems of exploiting this potential, with the existing way of building micro or mini hydro power plants, the device "VIS FLUIT" significantly helps to exploit this great potential and solve current common difficulties and problems.

  • VIS FLUIT - a self-regulating, floating hydro power plant produces electricity ( 60 kW - 150 kW or more ) using the river flow ( depending on the speed of the river flow staring from 1.6 m/sec ) without the need to build a dam, partitioning, diversion, channelization, construction of tunnels or other ways of diverting or regulating the river flow, without the need to buy ( or rent ) land for construction and can be installed on any suitable river, globally. The specific design of the device enables serial production, easy transport ( standard trucks, no special transport is required ) and installation in almost any convenient location ( river ), installation of a large number of devices with a large total power p.eg. 20 devices ( 100 m distance ) x 100 kW ( total 2 MW ) in a short time (measured in weeks, not years) and with a small number of required workers (a team of 12-14 people) for installation on location. 
  • The device produces electricity continuously 24h / 365 days. The device independently controls constant RPM (core breakthrough) of the generator shaft, basic technical prerequisite for electricity production,  regardless of the speed of the river flow and its level change. 
  • Device is super “eco-friendly” because it does not cause any harm to the natural biological life in the river. The device can be easily moved if necessary. 
  • Due to its characteristics, the device significantly shortens the process of obtaining permits for the installation of a hydro power plant and avoid usual eco, building land or local population problems.
